The Vision for Global Meditation Network in 2020.

Curious about the vision for Global Meditation Network in 2020? Read on…

The Global Meditation Network started out as a way for people around the world to gather together for daily meditation. In doing so, the idea was to utilize the power of our combined consciousness, grounded in love and in service to our Creator, to support the Earth and its creatures in their journey to self knowledge.

If you’ve watched our video about the benefits of meditation, or have done reading elsewhere, you know there is scientific evidence that our conscious can affect physical reality on a micro and macro level. Of course many religions and esoteric schools of thought also emphasize the power of individual and group prayer and meditation as a means to create change.

During past group meditations, my desire was not to apply some sort of spiritual force to the world in an effort to mold it to a preconceived outcome, but rather to vibrate with others in an energy field of peace, love and unity, and offer this energy to the Earth and mankind as a support for those that wish to receive it. Respecting other’s free will is always paramount.

Where do take our group meditation in 2020?

As we now begin the year of 2020, my desire to be of service to the world is as strong as it has ever been, and I’d like to take Global Meditation Network to the next level of its journey and, after a long hiatus, continue the meditations we began, and begin to explore other ways to grow and journey together on the path of bringing Spirit into form.

Here are some ideas for 2020 that I am planning on bringing into manifestation. If you are interested in joining me in this journey, please let me know:

  • Daily meditations of 30 minutes or less designed to join our group together to create a field of coherent energy grounded in love and unity to support each other and the world in our continued spiritual awakening.
  • “Deep dives” on various esoteric topics with an emphasis on practical application. This might take the form of studying a book, or body of work, and then practicing certain techniques throughout the week, and sharing our experiences.
  • Interviews with guests that are experts in esoteric fields to provide an introduction to their work for the purpose of sparking intellectual curiosity and inspiration for further study.
  • Most exciting for me is a monthly (bi-monthly?) Global Meditation potluck where you can host a meditation circle in your local area, interfaced with other local circles all over the globe. Each meditation circle will be listed in a local meditation circle directory, for easy reference. This is an opportunity to make face-to-face connections (gasp*) with other humans to share in camaraderie, laughter and love as you explore topics of mutual interest together.
*A little “Haha” for us introverts!

Sounds great! What’s the next step?

The above ideas would in reality be a full-time job to properly implement and manifest, and as I work full-time in the IT field, I am not at all certain how to manifest this in the time I have available, (in the midst of other additional projects both personal, and in cooperation with my wife on our property, Healing Acres Farm). However, I think putting the vision out there and taking one step at a time is better then no steps at all!

Daily Global Meditation – 10/25/16

Here is our daily global meditation and healing for today! I was a little distracted today and felt a little off. However, after it was over I find myself feeling more enthused about what is possible here. I think the key is finding the right format. One challenge that I have is I find myself feeling like I need to engage the viewer, and so am speaking more than I feel is necessary. I want this to be a useful service, and I feel that the format needs to fine tune itself, which I am sure it will continue to do so.

One option is to create a beginner video where we go over some basic “tuning in” concepts such as grounding, opening the heart, etc., and just have the live meditation itself be completely silent except for the music. In other words, there is 15 minutes of silent group meditation followed by the healing. However, many people will be watch this meditation in a recorded format and 15 minutes of silent meditation may not be very useful to people. What not just meditate on your own without the video?

The initial concept of the Global Meditation Network was to have everyone meditating as a group at the same time and to build a powerful group consciousness that could effect change. However, it is challenging to build up momentum and have that many people actually tuning in at the same time. It takes a deep commitment to do so. Plus many people literally can’t meditate live at a set time due to a job, their timezone, etc..

One interesting thing is the idea that our consciousness can transcend time. When I practice Matrix Energetics, for instance, one concept we use is time travel, where you can take your consciousness back in time to the source point of an issue and open to a shift in the event. Psychics and remote viewers travel in time with their consciousness all the time, and we do so in dreams as well, getting prophetic information about upcoming events. Thusly, having a recorded meditation that people could view at whatever time of the day works for them would be ideal and could still tap into the group meditation effect. A video like this might need to be intellectually engaging, otherwise people would not likely want to tune into it.

For instance, I am a subscriber of Gaia.com, where I watch a variety of different videos on metaphysical and “alternative” subjects that interest me such as channeling, consciousness, ET contact, UFOs, remote viewing, etc.. I will watch these videos at odd hours of the day or night, whenever I have some free time. I do so because I find the topics stimulating and inspiring.

I’d like the content we produce at the Global Meditation Network to be of similar service, but with a bent toward practical application.

I think one useful way to provide content would be by channeling information from sources of higher consciousness. I am experimenting with channeling, but it would appear I have a long way to go before I can be useful in this way to other people. Given what I have just discussed I think having the meditations be guided in parts is important for the videos to be engaging.

For me the most enjoyable part is the healings, as I like being a channeling for this energy stream and feel it is definitely useful for people, even if they are not consciously aware of definite shifts at the moment.

I have to go!  Good talk! Feel free to leave comments and suggestions in the comment box.

The Vision

two people meditating with earthI had the idea to create the Global Meditation Network one evening while at an overnight position at a job that afforded me the luxury of being able to meditate when there was some downtime.  That night I closed by eyes, went inside and connected with my heart and felt it open and expand to embrace the world in love and compassion. I wondered how many other people were meditating right now at the same time as I was? I imagined these meditators all across the world as beacons of light, sending mercy and healing to the Earth and all of it’s creatures. My heart went out to everyone. Together we were making a difference in the world and helping the collective consciousness of planet to rise, to evolve.

Wouldn’t it be great, I thought, to have a website that allowed you to log in and see who was meditating all over the world?  To have an online meditation community, where members could invite other members to meditate with them, creating a movement for elevation of consciousness on the planet.

I got very excited about the idea and when dawn came and it was time for me to end my shift at work, I drove home and went online to search for a domain name. Initially I called my idea “World Meditation Project”. Over time the name shifted to “Global Meditation Network”.  This initial inspiration happened over a year ago, and I am now working on creating this community in earnest.

In addition to being a place where people can go to meditate with other like minded people to help create a culture of peace, beauty, and love, it will also be a place to explore concepts. ideas, tools and practices that help us to live a life where we feel connected to our soul’s purpose and in full possession of our deepest essence. I’m hoping  to explore the big questions about why we are here and how we can create a society that respects all life and honors and upholds the sacredness in everyone and everything. I certainly don’t have all the answers, but one thing I love to do is learn from others and try to apply new concepts, tools and practices to my own life to see if it helps me live more authentically.  In this regard I’ll share my experiences with various books, programs, techniques, tools and ideas, and will invite you to do the same. I also plan to interview various leaders in the self-help and spirituality fields who wish to share their knowledge with our community. Likewise, if you have some insights or practical ideas to share, I invite you to do that too as a contributing author of articles or videos.  There will be a section on our site where you can submit your article or video for inclusion on our website to share with all of our participants. As a member of the Global Meditation Network, you are encouraged to take what you like if it serves you, and leave whatever you feel doesn’t.

My primary interest in life has always been how to live a meaningful life in the world. What has been most meaningful to me is to live a life that recognizes and honors that we are more than our bodies, that we are spirit in form, and that the nature of reality itself is more than what is just physically apparent. If just a little of what you find on this website blesses the world by helping you to live more fully in your spirit, that would bring me great joy.

Thanks for being a part of our journey here at Global Meditation Network. If you have any suggestions on how to make this website more useful for yourself or others, please email me at our Contact Us page.

With love,
